Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing this.
Say I have 30 orders for an aircraft already in the queue that span the next 2 years of game time. Now say I order an additional 10. There are many vacant slots beginning 1 month after my last aircraft delivery, but the game instead skips a few hundred of these vacant slots and sticks my first aircraft several months after the last order, despite the fact that there are open slots. This has happened to me several times. I'm just trying to understand why.

I'd need more details about the aircraft you are trying to order and the dates you see etc.

Well, here's an example from a while back. I ordered a bunch of A300-600R's over a year ago game time wise. My previous order's last aircraft was slated to be delivered June 2, 2000, and there were mostly green slots after this date. I was just trying to keep up with the demand of others, so when a few people started ordering after June 2, I placed an order of my own. However, this order's first aircraft was slated to be delivered January 3, 2001, despite the many other open slots prior.
I'll give you a more recent example as soon as it happens again.

Yes, I do need the exact dates and views of the prod.slots etc, as without the exact data I cannot investigate it. But report back if seen againg.
