Hi all

Is the ERJ-145 worthy?

Has anyone used it and had a good profit?

Since tings weren't doing very well in Philadelphia (long waiting time for new airplanes, too old airplanes in my fleet and didn't have anything to replace it..) i had to close down my airline and now i am approaching to a regional airline.. I am using EMB-120... ordered 5 of them... But i am thinking about the ERJ-145, for longer routes ( > 650nm ) with 50 + pax/day.. Something around 500nm ~ 1000nm

Mmm there ok. Flying to a bunch of different routes 5x per aircraft really hurts my Marking. The little e-mtfers shot my weekly marketing by 4x what 5 747s were costing me.

They make enough to cover there expenses... but .. tough to use, to say the least.


I've had ERJs before, but like now, there a regional fleet. Something to inflate my fleet numbers...


I wouldn't to base my company around them though...

Perhaps the AVRO fleet will be better as they have three variants?

ERJ-145's profit margin are so thin that you'd have to be really bored to use them.

I recommend the CRJs as you have a wider range of pax.

Well... There's always CRJ900s.
