Osaka Itami has a runway restriction?
« on: May 03, 2010, 02:48:22 AM »
Hey guys. I've got a B747SP trying to fly out of Osaka Itami, but everytime I try to open one, no matter where the destination is, it says that I can't open up that route due to runway restriction. It says that Osaka Itami has 2999m of runway, and the B747SP only needs 2840m. Am I missing something here?  ???

With the 747 having so many MTOW variants, are you certain that the 747 you're trying to book is a standard MTOW variant that doesn't require any additional runway?

It shouldn't matter anyway if you're picking somewhere closeby as the game is sophisticated enough to know how much fuel you'll need to make the next flight and adjust the runway length needed, so you shouldn't be seeing the warning if you're booking a flight nearby.
