Replacement to the Tu-114

I am trying to replace my Tu-114.. They burn a lot of fuel, but they are very cheap, have a good range and can carry a lot of people..
Could anyone sugest me a replacement for this?

Thats a difficult question to answer without saying what your'e looking for.
How many passengers do you want to carry, and how far do you want to carry them?
In this era, its a bit difficult to point to a newer plane that is a direct replacement, as most planes were evolutions and improvements and were not linear replacements...

I've been replacing them with DC8's. Similar range and capacity, better fuel efficiency... the only downside is you're not going to find a plane with as good a turnaround time as the TU-114, so rescheduling routes is a bit of a hassle.

Well.. i started using the DC-8 few months ago, but i wasn't planning to replace the Tu-114.. Then i had only one DC-8 and the costs were too high, so i terminated the lease.
Due to fleet commonality (as i am using B747s), i terminated the leases of my Tu-114 and ordered B707-320C... I hope it works.. I did a big move, replaced them all at the same time.. Lets see the effect.. LoL
