Sami,

Is Puerto Rico considered as the same as the US when it pertains to base airports?  I.E. can I open another base airport later in the game in the US?  Thx!

According to the Airport listing, Puerto Rico is in the country of "Puerto Rico", not the United States.

So it looks like, no, it's not.  But it should be since there's no such thing as the country of Puerto Rico.

Man that's what I was thinking.  I hope it can be changed during the game.

Yea, that should def be changed since American Airlines has a Hub at San Juan as well as in Main land USA, but they cannot hub overseas. That def needs to be changed.

IF they don't allow you to be part of the US, then your Income tax should be set to close to ZERO, since people in puerto rico do not pay federal income tax as they do not have voting representation in congress.

Airlines in US can open base airports in PR .. (pr is considered an "autonomous state governed by US" by the game engine)
