New features:

  • Automated notifications about route oversupply will be added as sometimes this is unintentional.

This warning system takes into account the average demand of all weekdays and has a very small error margin too (adjusted this morning a bit), so it's not triggering the warning from exactly 200% oversupply.

Minor updates:

  • Alliance scoring updated so that all airlines with less than 10 planes are excluded from the score calculation. The score calc. also includes now the following stats (in addition to the previous): company image, total sales revenue (prev. quarter), punctuality.

(score updates at next day change)

  • Alliance icons are shown on Airline statistic pages.

New feature:

  • Rule violation report button at Airline Info page.  <-- this image-button opens a popup that user can use if he spots and airline that uses real-world airline name or logo, or other trademark (which are against the rules). For any other possible rule violations like oversupply or slots please contact admins directly...

Update:

  • Tool for admins to monitor airlines and their names/logos, with the ability to send automated warnings via PM to the players if in violation of the rule. Also adds the possibility to make the airline renaming player controlled.. (rebranding in these cases is free & instant, with no image penalty)

New feature:

  • Dashboard "Alliance" tab has now more messages visible, and also ability to direct-view the messages, with buttons for fast reply and thread view.

(sorry for smudged texts, just took a pic from a random airline from a live game there and made the details "private"... :P)

(Beginning the last batch of updates and fixes to v.1.2, these updates will be uploaded in a day or to, so not yet visible in game worlds.)

Update:

  • Base selection for new a/c ordering added to the first selection page of the order process. Only visible if you have more than one base...

New features / Updates:

  • New and closed base airports (additional bases) are now posted to Airline News (Dashboard).

  • In Office/Marketing page the selection of route-pairs for route marketing is made easier by adding the base airports to the top of the dropdown list (instead of being in the alphabetical list of all destinations).

  • Base airport minimum aircraft warning (3 planes) is enhanced so that warning does not trigger if there are planes to be delivered within 3 weeks (prescheduling available).

  • Quick links to all airline base airports added to the left-hand submenu. (replaces the "HQ" row if many bases exist)

Updates:

  • The chart application used to produce various graphs has been updated to new version (together with some other supporting script files).

Main feature is that the charts are now iPhone/iPad/iPod compatible! The system is still the same as before but this new version automatically detects the user's browser and serves different content for i-users. Unfortunately however the pax demand chart is not available in this i-version. Yet at least .. I've asked today from the application manufacturer if this can be expected.

It is recommended to clear the browser's cache once to avoid issues with the new files.

Update:

  • Changes to alliance scoring as follows:

     - The 'variable' (daily) score takes now better into account large game worlds. The score is given to top 10% of airlines in the selected statistics, but at least 20 top airlines at all times. In other words if the game world has 500 airlines, the score to alliances is given 50-49-48-47 .. to the top airlines (if they belong to an alliance).

     - The 'cumulative' score has been too penalizing and has been adjusted. Alliance gains now 20pts for every operational year, and also every member airline counts +5pt/year towards the score. All older alliance cumulative scores have been increased by +400pts to bring them in line of the new adjustments.

New features:

  • Aircraft editing is now available up to -1 month from aircraft delivery. You can edit a/c delivery base and seating config at this point. Rest of the changes (model, engine, weight ..) are available -10 months prior delivery as before.

  • Aircraft edit pricing is changed a bit to be more accurate.

These are probably the last updates to v.1.2 game engine. (apart from minor bugfixes remaining)

Update:

  • Repeated reloading is blocked on used aircraft page. If the system detects too many reloads on the same page of used a/c listings it will block the display of the page. The idea of the used market is not to use automated reloaders or by other means constantly reload the page.

Update:

  • Used aircraft market refresh function (= when brokers put their planes up for sale) is altered a bit to get the market refresh rates more what was planned. Previous function refreshed sometimes too rarely.

It's also more random than before...
