Wow. Seems like people are not reading the info when choosing airport again. Please don't whine in the forums about unfair competition and so when your airline goes down :)

Good luck to the guys in those airports, they sure will need it :D

Same for LHR..

Already stated by previous poster but I will repeat: When making such choice player WILL KNOW that he WILL have problems with slots and lots of competition. There will NOT be any extra slots (or such) added for the convenience of those players.

But, a large airport like that should still be able to cater 5+ airlines. It's not a smooth sailing but it's not a complete disaster either.

Well, shakedowns happen at real airports too.  Play your best game and strategize and above all have fun. There will be bankruptcies and things will thin out a bit as I've noticed before. :)

I think some people pick bases on name only and don't take into account any actual strategy, which is a bad idea.

I just bought my vredits and in the 30 minutes it took me to do so (had some CC problems) 199 airlines were formed.....and they don't all just pile into LHR, FRA, LAX, HKG, JFK, HND/NRT, SIN, BKK, DXB, JNB, LGW, AMS, CDG, MAD, FCO, MXP etc. so they have to go somewhere.....man this will be a tense battle.  :o

It will probably be even more intense since the multi-leg option is not available anymore; so all these guys have a very limited span of airports to serve. It will be a wonderful game, I hence assume...  ;)

Just curious how some really interesting airports have no airlines yet...

could still get crazier, we are only at 370 of 500 players, saw alot of crowds at the big name airports around the world.

FRA is up to 11.  That must be a record for AWS!

I'm the 8th airline at LAX, but I expect the number of airlines based there to halve in the next 2 years. Some of those guys are only serving one singular international route, which could be problematic for them in the next few game months.

HAHA! I went with JFK... looks like it will be a nice rematch... eh Sami?

- Not sure which is worse for (any) given player... fighting 8 other airlines or fighting Sami?  ;)

From what I gather, people seem to choose airports just for the sake of it being on the top of the list.
I took a long hard look at all airports in South East Asia that are open 24h before choosing Kuala Lumpur for its location within Asia and proximity to major tourist destinations; Ideal for my low cost carrier airline Jet Horizons

Nah, I will just test and click around again... So I'm not a full-level competition.
