Fuel stop.
Do a fuel stop at a nearby airport. like SBKP for example. it has a 10000 ft runway which is big enough for B707s.
and its only about 62 miles from SBSP.
try that or different aircraft.

weird. i thought the minimum distance between airports had to be 50 miles.

I think it is 55 or 60 miles however there are several exceptions on routes between islands.
