If only we could upgrade our super 60's to super 70's... I suppose thats for the feature request forum...

CFM56's on a DC8 is most epic.

But those upgrades shouldnt be allowed until after the date(s) when phase 2 quieting is required? 

They did use new CFM engines.... maybe when those become available???

Or perhaps, better yet, this can be done to all existing large aircraft for a cost.  Maybe that 17 year old 707320 can become the 707-720 with newer efficient turbofans.
