I'm here just to blame SBSP airport (guarulhos, brazil)

I realized how it's short runnaway sucks. I have ordered an Il-62 long range jet hopping to make a lot of money flying long range routes, but i was stupid enought to do not check the runnaway lenght.. damn it.

So my plane will stay stucked and bleeding my cash.

Thinking about going bankrupt, because we can't grow in this dammed airport.. This is too limited.. =/

Yeah, I did the same thing in the same airport. It does become useful later on when the 767ER is really the only longhaul that can land there, so an airline based there can just run a fleet of 767ERs and dominate all long-haul routes from SBSP. I'm not sure when it comes out though... I suspect it's a little too late for the Jet Age game.

i made a test with the B720 and the system didn't show any restriction when i select this airplane.

i think it can take off, but with limited Take Off Weight.

Does anyone confirm my "theory"?

Because the Runaway Length required for takeoff depends on the airplane weight in the moment of the takeoff.. so, fuel and PAX load...

If the airplane requires 2100m to takeoff in the max TOW, so with 1900m of runaway it may be able to take off but with less PAX than usual, right?

aircraft will need to be roughly 10% give or take a few % lighter. but it should be able to take off.
