[ok] Changing an order for a new plane

In the Jet Age, I have ordered some new 737-200s on an operational lease. When I try to change the order, the lease price goes up even if I downgrade the plane (lowering the MTOW). Also, if I change the configuration, this also changes the lease... shouldn't that be a one-off lump-sum change. And when if I change the order from a operational lease to a direct purchase, shouldn't the original order confirmation of 5 months lease that I've already paid be deducted from the new price - this doesn't seem to be happening. I'd really like to downgrade my MTOW, change the configuration and change it to a direct purchase, but it seems to be severely punishing me for doing so.

sami:
When you change the order it is basically never cheaper, unless you make some major changes. There is always a sort of 'servicee fee' built it. Or in other words making changes to an order will always usually cost you.

Fair enough. Still, I'm a bit frustrated with Boeing... their plane isn't even certified yet, what do they care if I want to change my order. Also, I feel like that'd be happy to get the call that somebody wanted to buy their plane outright rather than just lease it... But I suppose it's hardly a bug then, it's just me whining  ???

I will try to recode the order edit later on, based on this report: http://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,17135.0.html

It'll also fix/change this then.

I'm still a bit puzzled by changing of financing of the plane.

I changed my mind and I now want to buy the first plane that will arrive instead of leasing it 7y.

Will this cost me?
