How to make a nice profit.
« on: February 12, 2010, 10:09:33 PM »
So I have very low prices compared to what the game prices give, example I am based out of Philadelphia, I curently running a route from PHL-LAS(Vegas) and I have the prices at 241 dollars one way, but then the default price is 301, it is very profitable but I just wish I could raise the prices. I do try to but when ever I do my load is ussualy going down from 95 percent-to like 80 percent. So it sounds decent but the profit! It goes from 51,000 daily, to 46,000. It dosent sound like it takes a chunk out of what I am making but it dose multiple it by 7.

So my point is how can I make more of a profit?

I know raising my prices but how much 10 dollars? Or 60?

Because either way it will be below what the defualt price is.

This is my strategy;
$5 up, wait up the load is again at >90%, then 5% up and wait etc.

The profit may drop, but at the end you will earn more money.

I normally open new routes with 10% off the default price, and as soon as the route image is close to 100%, I set the fare to the default price.
