767-300 vs. 767-300ER

Not sure that this is a bug but I find it curious that when I schedule flights from DFW, LAS, or LAX to secondary Hawaiian airports such as PHLI it says that the 767-300 is severly payload limited to 29 passangers but a 767-300ER can fly the route normally. It's my understanding that the only difference between the 767-300 and 767-300ER is the additional range of the ER so not sure why the discrepenancy when scheduling the routes.

The -300 has a runway req. of 1,460m and the 300ER is 1,470m. A difference of 10m. I guess that's the problem. ;)

Yeah but shouldn't that favor the -300 and not the -300ER? Right now I have to fly the routes with -300ER's.
