"Experts analyze the fuel price developments"

Report from the market ...

"Industry analysists believe that we are already close to the peak of the oil and jet fuel prices. The experts predict that the prices do not climb so rapidly anymore or they may even start to fall in the next quarter. However this is only a speculation."

 ;)

Yes, please send them to my personal account at the tax haven of the Cayman Islands ...  ;D

Back to the matter, when using custom fuel prices I think it would be beneficial for the player to get some sort of reports on this too.

This would go well with any political or social changes as well.   Perhaps another section of the game's main screen?

Also, short selling is selling something I actually don't own.  I have to buy it back at a later time and pay about 15% interest during the interim.  Therefore, I will have no money to put into your own account.

It's too late for me to go ahead ;)

Is that possible to give some tips before the price raise or fall? It is hard to be always ready to handle the problem, especially in a world labelled "easy" ;)

I hope that analysis is correct, these high prices are killing me!

Starting the game during high prices does have its benefits; it's making me think 'lean'.  Hopefully when/if the prices do drop, I'll be in a position to make some healthy profits, having already geared my airline for cheap running.

I feel for those who started with cheap fuel and picked up old guzzlers (747-200s etc).  If you got stuck with them you'd be feeling the pinch.

C'mon cheap fuel!

Thanks for the update sami, I'll keep my cabin crew's fingers crossed.

no one can survive like this. Sami, i think you should drop these prices to more realistic levels, else there is no fun in this....or provide small carriers with less than 5 planes, interest free loans or some such incentive to grow. Else, it is not working out.

I am making good money right now.  I was smart enough to not go nuts on planes and fly over capacity like many of the large carriers have.

Sami, I find this to be completely fair as so many games were just too easy.

Admin's will NOT change any fuel prices because someone thinks they are too high, or too low. It's been preprogrammed there when world was started.

In ATB#2 the prices are custom but overall they are easier than in reality.

Fortunately with a bit of close management i can still manage to hang on with the high fuel prices. They are good at least in the sense that you don't have airlines expanding like crazy with fuel guzzling aircraft without paying attention to fleet choice!
