oh, just an update on the CYTZ situation - Air Canada Express has started service at CYTZ on top of Porter's services, which have already expanded incredibly, and the LF on Porter has just reached the 65% mark - with Air Canada's being 40%..?

I assume this will be fixed with city-based demand?

Hi. Phuket Airport (VTSP) is actually opened for 24 hours a day. Can this be fixed in the game world please? Currently in airwaysim it closes between 0000-0600.

Thanks

According to VTSP's official website (http://www.airportthai.co.th/ewtadmin85_AOT/ewt/phuket/ewt_news.php?nid=7&filename=sitemap___EN) airport services are open from 0600-2400...

On this website you can clearly see that there are activities between midnight and 6 am and it's not just one off...if anyone uses FLIGHTTRACK application on ipad and iphone you can also clearly see that there are plenty of activities actually after midnight with mainly flights going to China and Kores etc.

I live in Thailand also and I can confirm that the airport is active 24 hours in Phuket even though not a lot but still active.

Hope this will be amended in the next game.

This is one of those things that would be difficult to code. There are airports that have a "soft" curfew, meaning an airline can schedule flights during the curfew period but pay a premium in landing fees or a "fine" (Burbank/Hollywood (KBUR/BUR) comes to mind) and others that are "closed" but will allow late flights to operated during the curfew hours. In this case, the airport is "officially" closed from 2400-0600 so that is what Sami considers regardless of the fact that aircraft do operated between 2400 and 0600.

Ok then. That's fair enough. While I had that thought in mind about having to pay extra premium fees for late night operations I didn't think it would be hard to just enable the airport for 24 hours operation. Having said that I realize it would be another situation to code the extra fees having to be paid etc. that's fair enough then I guess.

Thanks for clarification.
