Fleet commonality 737 classic/NG

Is there fleet commonality between the 737 classics and NG? What I mean is do they belong to the same aircraft group regarding fixed costs?

no.  the 737 is 3 fleet groups.

100/200, 300-500, 600-900

The different 737 generations are different fleet types for the purposes of this game. No commonalities at all. Not very realistic, but oh well.

Okay, thanks for the answers. Then I'll stick to the classics and forget about ordering the NG's.

In real life the 100/200, classics and NGs have different cockpit layouts and procedures, although similar in some aspects. However they do not have a common cockpit as do the Airbusses, so the current commonality is perfectly realistic
