Why we can not to get early delivery of new airplans when free slots available? Is it possible to change date of delivery regarding free slots?

I was wondering this too and I thought that planes will be delivered earlier as earlier order slots become available.

I think Sami said slots are locked after they pass 6months before delivery.  And, as the game has just started, all new aircraft are being delivered within 6months, so they won't move.  The waiting time is then just how long it takes to build a plane.

It takes X days to build the plane. The manufacturers do not build planes to storage and hope someone buys them. The build time is dependant on the plane size.

But if there are no other slots you can assume delivery in 2-4 months from the order, roughly.

Hi Sami,

Just wanting to confirm the new production rates.

I have just ordered 14 New 747's and the delivery date for the last one is not till November next year, so production rate is roughly 1 per month over that time period, if they only take 2 months to build each and production rate is 8 per month thought I would ahve them alot sooner...

Thanks

check the prod.slot page, that should answer the questions. Keep in mind that the slots can move...

Hmmm still a bit confused, was the only one who had ordered  747's now someone else has put an order through and there delivery of there plane is well ahead of alot of my deliveries even though I ordered before first, how does that work..
