Do you operate the longest non-stop flight?
« on: June 19, 2009, 05:45:35 AM »
Today I stumbled on an article in wikipedia that talks about the longest non-stop flights, which makes me wonder about the longest non-stop flight in this ATB game world.  Post here if you think you have the longest!

According to the article, the currently scheduled longest non-stop flight (in terms of distance) is
Newark-Singapore    Singapore Airlines    8,285 nm      18hr 50min

I have some 772 LRs coming in. The longest KIX to South America routes are between 10,000 - 11,000 nm.

Since I've never used the 772LR, I was looking forward to doing some ULH flying.

Dont think I've ever gone past 7300nm (744)

Will see.

In the game, I'm flying from KLAX to FAJS, 9014nm

(Well, I had a stopover in Brazil now, but theoritically I can switch to A380 or B777-200LR for this route for non-stop)

Doesn't count until you fly the route non-stop. ;)

Bump!

Ok, after taking delivery of my 77Ls, I have some ULH to mention:

KIX-EZE : 10121 NM

KIX-GRU: 10135 NM

Those are the longest routes I operate. Seems you cant fly past 9900nm in two days.. I used 1-4, 2-5, 3-6 routing.. Im sure I could have squeezed 3 flights on to 1 aircraft.. but I was too lazy to try...

Im sure someone has a longer flight then me... Though I can get 10600nm out of my 77Ls with my configuration.
